Why is Dr. Siltanen back as the coordinator or graduate studies (albeit interim coordinator)? Wasn't there an extensive investigation by Dr. P. Pepper from IHL regarding the enrollment scandal? I recall that the report from Pepper specific in placing some blame. Didn't Dr. Siltanen take the fall over this? As the official spin was that there was "human error" wouldn't that mean that Dr. Siltanen was considered incompetent? Couldn't they find someone else to do this? Seems risky to me.

Answers to your questions:
1. Probably because Brad Bond has returned to full-time faculty.
2. Yes. I don't think the report specifically assigned names to the blame.
3. Yes, she did.
4. Dr. Hudson made a statement to the media indicating that Dr. Siltanen did not run the decision to enroll hundreds of graduate students in GS 500 by the Dome administration prior to doing so.
5. The search for a graduate studies coordinator is underway.
Phil Pepper knows the truth about all this and he knew it last year. Whether he actually followed up on it or not is another issue. He may not have been informed about Siltanen's return, but he was told the inside story last year.
