Isn't it nice to have a president that keeps us all informed and makes great decisions for our interim and some permanent positions?

Isn't it nice to walk by the dome and feel like skipping instead of crying?

Isn't it nice to log onto SOAR and see the link to the FAR knowing that it might soon go away?

Isn't it nice to log on to our new president's blog and see how approachable and charismatic she is and how she is connecting with our students?

Isn't it nice to have the horror of the last 5 years of our lives now supplanted by "the new way"? (to quote, in quite a different way, one of my favorite films... know which?)

Thank you, Dr. Saunders, for making the grass green again. And on OUR side of the fence to boot!

indeed.

It is a lot more fun being faculty senate president, I can tell you. Although I have to admit I am having trouble keeping up with the changes!

Yes, it's nice for you.  But now I wish I was back teaching, researching and arguing about parking problems at Faculty Senate meetings cry.     smile
