And now, a word from the humble Samwise Gamgee

"It’s like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo, the ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were, and sometimes you didn’t want to know the end, because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even the darkness must pass. A new day will come, and when the sun shines, it will shine out the clearer.

"Those were the stories that stayed with you, that meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn’t. They kept going because they were holding on to something, . . .that there’s some good in the this world, Mr. Frodo, and it’s worth fighting for."

From the recent screenplay for The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, by Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens, Stephen Sinclair, and Peter Jackson, at least as far as I could understand the words on the DVD.  At 154 words, I hope I’m still within fair use.

Let's keep going, folks.  We're holding on to something, too.

NO QUARTER.

Thank you. And we don't need to put on our trenchcoats and meet in dark corners (a la "Emeril") to keep going.

I can take the slings and arrows CSL.  But I am serious about moving this beyond this board to a different level. You can choose to misunderstand me, but please believe me that I am concerned about the lawsuits that continue to pile up and they get little recognition (especially when they continue to prevail) and we know that the underbelly of this whale is dark and dangerous. Don't mistake me for a previous poster.

What lawsuits are you talking about and who is prevailing (that we don't know about)? As far as kicking it up to the Governor -- many on this board contacted the Governor's office and never got a reply.

There are many lawsuits being filed against USM that are not being mentioned in the HA or any other Gannet newspaper. There is a lot of burying going on.

In this respect the news media is letting us down.

But, I'm going to take the advice of those who have responded to my posts and will go down a different avenue.  But I'm not giving up.  Timr to go get in line and vote!!!!
