I just received a notice from the city clerk's office that to vote on the USM bond issue, I have to go to a second polling place. Are they actually setting up, staffing, and paying for duplicate polling places? What an incredible waste of money. Am I paranoid -- it seems to me that in doing this, they are assured of cutting down on the number of people who actually participate in the vote. I've already had two calls from President Lucas and two from Jeff Bowers.
