I do wish some "concerned citizens" were working half as hard to get some funding for -- say -- the library.  Or endowed faculty chairs.  Or scholarships.


Oh, well. We can't pick their priorities for them, can we?

Just my worth, but Bennett Auditorium has been hurting for renovations for a long time. It was pretty run down when I sat through freshman orientation in there in, um, 1971...
