USM chief to work on Coast

GULFPORT - When Martha Saunders was chosen president of the University of Southern Mississippi, she said she'd rather spend time visiting with faculty and students than in her office.

Soon, she'll be able to do both when she visits the university's Gulfport campus.

Employees at the Student Services Center have cleared out a conference room for Saunders so she can work and have meetings with faculty, staff and students when she works on the Coast....
