For those of you outside the Hub City. Old HHS building on Main Street in downtown Hattiesburg burned down to nothing but shell. It was a great old building. Historic preservation groups were working to restore.

For those of us out of town, could someone who's seen the HHS building report on its condition. The paper reported that the structure might be salvageable, but from the photographs, it seems to be a total loss. Any talk as to the cause of the fire?

OK. I should have looked at the HA webpage first. Arson and the structure is collapsing. Who would do such a thing?
