In celebration of USM's bright future, this board has resumed open posting. You should now be able to post without registering.
The open board will be closely, and probably unfairly, moderated. This is still a PRIVATE board subject to the whims of the administrator and moderators. If you don't like it, don't post.

Hi der Emma. Dis is H. Angleterre postin wit no name, no.
disgusted student reporting in. Hi everybody, I can't wait for the party or for May 21. It has been a long time since I have heard news as good as our new president.
Well, the lesson of the day, Moderator, is that no good deed goes unpunished. Or, give 'em and inch and they'll take a mile.
MD (Southern Belle?)-the faux COB tried to install a plug in when I clicked on one of the links on your page. Then it froze up my computer. What gives?
LVN wrote: GL, you must be using Firefox. It's a glitch.
Btw, I've private-messaged with Southern Belle and it's a female staff person, not MD.
Nah, Explorer--it is some issue with a .pdf document that needs additional media support to run something embedded, I think.
I thought SB might be MD or associated with MD, because they referred to the USMNEWS site as the COB site (as a way to attract new readers, I thought). Love ya, but use caution about posting TMI about potential identifiers obtained through PM. Sorry for the mistaken ID, SB.
LVN: Thank you for informing someone that I am not MD. Even though I do not know who MD is
Just think in 39 days plus hours, we can all reveal our identities. I am sure that most of us will be surprised to find out who everyone is. This has been like attending a two year secret ball!!

Not me! I love open boards because I can indulge my multiple personality disorder! (Nice thing about a MPD -- I never walk alone!)

Excuse me for interrupting, but I'm wondering if folks from sister institutions will be invited to this party? I don't have a secret identity to reveal but I'd sure like to be included. If the date doesn't conflict with our Spring commencement, I'd be willing to bring our new private jet down from D'Lo to meet all you good people. Our University Provost, I think you know her as Emma, would appreciate an invite too.
By the way, contrary to the malicious stories you may hear, I'm not bitter about not being picked as your new president. Not even a little. Disappointed maybe, but not bitter. D'Lo is a wonderful place to raise a family, and build a wurld class university.
