Reported may be wrong word, rumored widely may better describe the deal. I personnaly don't buy this rumor. I think she is far better off at Milsaps than she would be a USM.

But if the powers that be, including GNG, want it to happen, it will happen. They had enough power in 2002 to pull it off for SFT. The Lucas daughter would be an easier sell due to the fact that 95% of faculty want ABT...Anybody But Thames.
Look's like this conspiracy theory was just that, a conspiracy theory.

73 Novice, I'm surprised that you had to pull up this huge, old thread to make a simple comment. It's a lot easier to copy & paste the material you want to respond to in a new thread.

LVN.  Teach me...teach me.  You must know all the techniqiues. You are an experienced poster and I am a novice. You didn't have to read all the Bud Ginn posts did you? That would have been terrible.

Looks like you and a few more people and I will close this board down soon.

I came on late, some of you are to be commended for all of that you have contributed.

Someone should write a history of the board. It has seems it has served as a good way for people to express open and frank opinions.

Sorry I don't know how to c and p.

 

Don't be too hard on us old folks.

I think the board is a ways from being shut down. You can look at the number of "views" the posts get to see that many people are still reading it. There's just not much to say at the moment. I suspect that in about a month it will get very lively around here!

"100 New Innovative Ideas To Renew USM"

Why don't you as an experienced poster put something like this out there? There are plenty of people out there that want to renew and rebuild.

Actually novice, I was working on something else not related to this board, and didn't have time to go further with my comment to you.

To copy and paste: place your arrow at the beginning of the text you wish to select, hold down the LEFT mouse button, and drag the arrow across the desired text, which should then be highlighted. Then press the RIGHT mouse button, which will bring up a menu from which you can select "copy" Your computer will temporarily remember the text you selected. Once you determine where you want the copied text to go, say into a new post, or into a Word document, position your cursor, right-click again, and select "paste."
You probably have a tutorial somewhere on your computer about how to do this sort of thing. When all else fails, ask a kid. Works for me.
