Proper Termination Procedures at USM

Do they exist?  How have others been terminated? Is it addressed in the revolving Faculty Handbooks??  I know how a couple of faculty members got terminated - they showed me the paperwork. Shouldn't it follow some type of due process???

You got that right, Emma. But neither do good procedures ensure a great university. Procedure is a necessary but not a sufficient condition for greatness. USM needs procedure, for sure, but it needs so much more than that to achieve greatness. It needs so much more that the very thought is overwhelming.
