I'm getting them, too. I'm also starting to experience that "I haven't gotten that email from you yet" (said two days after sending the email) phenomenon again.

Yep, I'm getting them also. Got some dated 2/22/06!!!!! What's the deal???? I thought this problem was fixed???

I keep asking him to read quicker to limit your backlog. Unfortunately, he lost his glasses on a recent duck hunt, and it took us awhile to replace them. I promise to do my best to get Dr. Thames through this backlog of e-mail reading, and to forward your messages to you in a timely fashion.

The e-mail server at USM is awful Routinely, message delivery is delayed. This is especially problematic when it occurs with messages that require immediate responses. In general, tech services at USM are poor. Does anyone remember how long it took for the USM website to come back up following Katrina. During that time, I checked Tulane's website and found that it was up and running with vital information before USM's site was up. Then, when the USM site became available, it didn't contain any information related to university closing, etc. When they did add information, it was in small print near the bottom of the page. I was particulary disturbed when Pappy publicly congratulated those folks for a wonderful job at our pep rally following the storm. Their performance was awful and certainly did not warrent public praise.
